TOURIST SMART CARDS FOR EXPLORING THE CAPITAL CITY
Delhi Metro will be selling its ‘Tourist Smart Cards’ from selected Metro stations through dedicated counters for a period of ten days starting tomorrow i.e., 4th September 2023, to facilitate the G-20 delegates and international visitors who might be interested in exploring the prominent tourist places of the capital city as they arrive in Delhi, owing to the upcoming G-20 summit.
The ‘Tourist Smart Cards’ can be purchased from these dedicated counters at the stations (List attached) which will be available in two categories- One-Day Validity and Three-Day Validity cards, offering unlimited rides in the Metro network. The One-day validity Tourist Smart Card will be available for Rs. 200/- whereas, three-day validity card will be available for Rs. 500/-. This amount also includes a refundable security deposit of Rs. 50/-.
Besides unlimited rides, these cards are of great benefit to tourists as they can seamlessly travel in the entire network from the first train to the last train service available for the day. There are no penalties/surcharge levied on Tourist Smart Cards on account of instances like Entry/exit mismatch, overstay in system, overstepping etc.
Delhi Metro, India’s largest Metro network, ranked amongst one of the largest Metro systems in the world is well connected to almost all the prominent tourist destinations in the city like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Akshardham Temple, Kalkaji Temple, to name a few. Tourists can seamlessly reach these tourist places by travelling on various corridors of the Delhi Metro by using these cards. Tourists can also download the ‘Delhi Metro Rail’ app for more details on the network to plan their journeys. The App also includes a dedicated section on the home page by the name of ‘Tour Guide’ where they can find the list of all stations and tourist places nearby.
Tourist Smart Cards are also available at all Metro stations (Except Airport Express Line) across the network. Anyone desirous of exploring the city can avail these cards from the stations any time during the day.

Yo guys! Check it out! The Delhi Metro is hooking us up with Tourist Smart Cards to explore the capital city! They got these dope cards for all the G-20 delegates and international visitors who wanna check out the cool tourist spots in Delhi during the G-20 summit.
You can cop these Tourist Smart Cards from selected Metro stations at their special counters. They got two types of cards - One-Day Validity and Three-Day Validity. And yo, with these cards, you can ride the Metro as much as you want, no limits! The One-Day card costs Rs. 200 and the Three-Day card costs Rs. 500. But hold up, they'll also take a refundable security deposit of Rs. 50.
These cards are super chill 'cause you can ride the Metro all day long, from the first train to the last train. And listen up, there ain't gonna be no fines or extra charges if you mess up and go in the wrong way or stay too long or whatever.

METRO SERVICES TO COMMENCE FROM 04:00 AM DURING 8TH TO 10TH SEPTEMBER 2023
TRAIN SERVICES: To facilitate the general public, police personnel and staff from other assisting agencies deployed to maintain security, law and order, traffic arrangements etc. for the upcoming G-20 Summit to be held in Delhi on 9th and 10th September 2023, the Delhi Metro train services will start from 04:00 AM from terminal stations of all Lines for three days i.e, from 8th to 10th September 2023. The trains will run with a frequency of 30 minutes on all the Lines till 06:00 AM. After 06:00 AM, Metro trains will run as per the normal timetable throughout the day on all Lines.
STATIONS: All Metro stations will remain open for the general public during this period (8th to 10th September) except Supreme Court Metro Station where no boarding/deboarding of passengers will be allowed on 09th and 10th September 2023 due to security constraints.
However, as and when directed by the security agencies, entry/exit at some stations may be regulated for a brief period in New Delhi district on 9th and 10th September to facilitate the movement of VVIP delegations.
PARKING: Parking at all Metro stations will also continue to remain available as usual except three Metro stations falling in New Delhi district. Parking at these three stations namely, Supreme Court, Patel Chowk and Rama Krishna Ashram Marg will remain closed from 04:00 AM of 8th September 2023 till 12:00 PM of 11th September 2023.
In view of this prestigious G-20 summit being held in the national capital, Delhi Metro also appeals to its passengers to extend all possible cooperation in smooth running of the Metro services and follow the instructions of station staff and guidelines issued by the authorities from time to time without falling prey to rumors.
For regular updates regarding Metro services, passengers are advised to follow DMRC’s official social media handles @officialDMRC on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram including ‘Delhi Metro Rail’ App and website www.delhimetrorail.com. Passengers are also advised to use ‘DMRC Travel’ App for instant booking of QR tickets for travel in Metro eliminating the need to go to ticket counters/stand in queue

Yo, listen up! The metro services are gonna start from 4:00 AM on September 8th to 10th, 2023. It's because of the G-20 Summit in Delhi on September 9th and 10th. The trains will run every 30 minutes till 6:00 AM, and after that, it's gonna be the usual schedule. All metro stations will be open except Supreme Court Metro Station where no one can get on or off the train on September 9th and 10th for security reasons. Some other stations might have restricted entry/exit due to VVIP movements, but it'll be brief. Parking will be available at all stations except Supreme Court, Patel Chowk, and Rama Krishna Ashram Marg. TRAIN SERVICES: Public ko suvidha dene ke liye, police aur anya madadroop agencies ke karmachariyon ke liye, jinhone Delhi mein 9th aur 10th September 2023 ko hone wale G-20 Summit ki suraksha, kanoon vyavastha, traffic arrangements, aadi bharpoor karne ke liye tainaat kar diya gaya hai, Delhi Metro train services 8th se 10th September 2023 tak sabhi Lines ke terminal stations se 04:00 AM se shuru hogi. Trainon ka frequency 30 minutes ke anusaar hogi sabhi Lines par 06:00 AM tak. 06:00 AM ke baad, Metro trains poore din sabhi Lines par normal timetable ke anusaar chalegi.
STATIONS: Is samay (8th se 10th September) sabhi Metro stations aam janta ke liye khule rahenge, lekin Supreme Court Metro Station par 09th aur 10th September 2023 ko suraksha par karan yatriyon ka utar-chaar naheen hoga.
Halaanki, suraksha agencies ke direction par, kuch stations mein New Delhi district mein 9th aur 10th September ko kuch samay tak entry/exit niyantrit kiya ja sakta hai VVIP delegation movement ko aasan banane ke liye.
PARKING: Sabhi Metro stations par parking jaise hi upalabdh rahegi, lekin New Delhi district mein kuch Metro stations jaise ki Supreme Court, Patel Chowk aur Rama Krishna Ashram Marg parkings 8th September 2023 ke 04:00 AM se 11th September 2023 ke 12:00 PM tak band rahegi.
Rashtriya rajdhani mein hone wale is pratishthit G-20 summit ke samay mein, Delhi Metro bhi apne yatriyon se anurodh karta hai ke Metro services ko aaram aur suvidha se chalane mein sahayta karein aur samay-samay par station staff ke instructions aur authorities ke guidelines par amal karein, aur afwaon mein fasne se bachein.
