Taj Express which was started in 1964 to serve tourists travelling from Delhi to Agra now an victim of regular overtake by India’s Fastest Train, Gatiman Express even though it has 3 minutes of prior arrival time at Agra cantt. Initially, it was a popular train among foreign tourists, before the Bhopal Shatabdi got introduced in 1986 and now Gatiman Express. Taj Express was introduced in 1964 which later extended up to Gwalior in 1985 and then to Jhansi in 2006. Lastly, in January 2016, this train was introduced with LHB Coaches which provides comfortable ride for passenger but it gave some hiccup to LP and ALP due to unnecessary chain pulling.
