2. After khammam upgraded to corporation in 2012 city limits increase and obviously telangana developed faster than andhra viceversa to khammam and khammam pace of development .

Kakinada has nothing but port barely a 10,000 migrators will be working from diff states but khammam has granite industry and cement quaries and singareni born in khammam dist khammam is most important transport for ktps and itc paper plant which is largest paper plant in india and khammam has largest sugar factory in telugu states and north indians and outsiders are more in khammam than kakinada .

Attached screen shots of Khammam and Kakinada from Google Maps, both the ss are at same scale. Area wise Kakinada looks bigger and population wise Kakinada has 443028 while Khammam has 313504 according to 2011 census. I have been to both the places, Kakinada is a planned city so most of the stretch I travelled through was entirely similar and looking aesthetically good. While Khammam is of mixed type, few roads are narrow and very much crowded while some areas were having pretty wide roads and smooth traffic. Vehicular moment was almost similar in both the places, equally crowded. Outer areas in Khammam looked pretty impressive with apartments. Overall both the places are quite good although Kakinada has upperhand as it's comparatively bigger and more populated. Why do some railfans behave soo childish ? also seen another railfan Powerstar from Kakinada continuously degrading other cities on Twitter, he was even abusing others and their cities like a kid. I donno why few railfans are soo immatured.
