It means Farakka will not be cancelled in winter for two days due to extra rake provided.Malda people's were so much frustrated that it will be cancelled in winter as it's gone to Balurghat from one side and another to Punjab.

That winter time cancellation thing completely depends on the respective zones and RB but the late arrival of one rake now is not going to affect the timely departure of other rakes from Balurghat untill and unless the arriving rake is delayed by more than 24hrs.
Honestly i was expecting the extra rake since this extension was demanded by a high profile person.
