Nothingispermanentvalid~ 627 blog postsPlease anyone tell where the primary maintenance of both of these trains (12547/48 and 22547/48) done and on which days these trains take primary maintenance and plesse also tell is there any slot available for primary or secondary maintenance of the trains at Agra Cantt and Jhansi jn and Gwalior jn?
Does this train don't take any primary maintenance at Gwalior ?
And can you tell is their any daily slot available at Agra cantt or Gwalior jn or Jhansi jn for primary or secondary maintenance of any train ?
why this train is being destroyed, it no longer feels like a duronto train. Skipping major cities and stopping at villages, some stops after Delhi should be removed and koderma don't deserve the stoppage. Stop ruining Kolkata trains.
Extension was the worst idea. Don't know how it was approved. KQR is a political halt. Hope railway removes after completion of 6 month.

Extension took away it's status of fastest Duronto express. After Delhi, gurgaon is important station which could be given a halt to avoid traffic at NDLS, but it stops at villages like Sri Dungargarh, Sadulpur, it's disgusting. Isse better koi nayi train Chala dete. Really hope KQR gets removed. It's necessary atleast this train is best between Kolkata and Delhi.

Slot issues in KR, CR and WCR too.
This route and timings are also pretty good. Hope for the best. Also good to see it running with LHB rake.

According to me, increasing the frequency of 12741/42 would not be feasible until the pitline at Vasco is built because, as of now, 12741/42 is sent to Madgao pitline for maintenance. As a resident of Vasco, I have only seen Goa Express and Vasco-YPR in the pitlines at Vasco. These two trains come back in the morning and block the two pitlines for any other train. Similarly, Vasco-Salimar is also sent to Madgao, as I have personally seen Vasco Salimar's empty rake crossing Madgao and going towards Vasco.

The reason you see empty rakes of VSG trains at Madgaon is because they are sent to Savordem for parking due to space constraints at Vasco Da Gama.
Konkan Railways are so efficient that they have delayed this train by 2 hours before Panvel itself and now 12741 is running ahead of this special train.
And no this train should run from Vasco Da Gama few others terminating at Madgaon. Why should every Goa bound train terminate at MAO.

Close call, if GT reaches 30+ minutes late then it would be difficult to catch SVDK VB
I'd recommend either taking the normal SF train towards SVDK (if any) or take the afternoon SVDK VB train... unless u have any itinerary in SVDK...
