Tempos are available every time from Mughalsarai to Varanasi Cant Station/Junction. It will take around 45-50 minutes (peak hours) to reach Varanasi Junction from Mughalsarai Junction

I have also availed of this service, which is on an economical "sawaari" basis. You may update the Tip with the latest rates.
I was charged with rs. 25 from MGS to BSB (one year ago). The autos do not start until get filled up by passengers (the engines are kept running pretending they are about to start and this may continue for eternity).
20-25 min. during nights only, in daytime it will easily takes 45 to 50 min due to pathetic traffic...
