Sarang Nirvikar 41 blog posts12290 NGP-CSTM Duronto Express has new independent platform no. 8 which is on other side of the station and can be reached easily from Cotton Market side.
this is platform made in haste just for this train , it has escalators too ...it comes to life only 1 hour before dept of duronto else it bears a deserted look all day ..waste of money as it remains closed during monsoon too ...atleast they can start trains like sewagram , amravati passenger , ngp - sc SF , NGP - Pune SF /GR from this platform ...
No Escalator required. You can directly enter from other side. The platform has no stair case and is connected to Ticket Counter as well. May be it is built for these trains but is not yet decided. Lets see what they decide.
