Why is everybody clicking me today? BRC WAP 5 #30072 pushing 19311 PUNE-INDB Exp must have been wondering !!. First time visitor this shiny BRC Pride dashes the myth that WAP 5 cannot climb the stiff ghats.
Seen here,is BRC WAP 5 crusing at Badlapur as LP acknowlegdes by giving 2 sweet & melodious horn

I don't work in Railways.
None of any Rail Fans work in Railways, exceptional in rare cases.
And i never objected the celebrations.
but in technicality, WAP-5 struggles.
And in ER region, no...

banker/Braker, but the grad limit is steep, it struggles to notch up at the particular point.
Similar case is at SC - KZJ section and also in other places where one can find roller coaster gradients, unlike Valley Gradients.
That's why LGD wasn't allocated WAP-5's as it can't pull out lengthy ones. Or else it would b the 2nd shed to home them. :-)
And secondly, in ghat zone, irrespective to MODERN LOCOS, Helpers are must.
