6653 in the gaudy colours of Sabarmati shed rests at Zawar, 40 kms from Udaipur, before tackling the 150 metre climb to the next station at Kharwa Chanda. Train 432, the 07:10 Ahmedabad Junction - Udaipur City 'Mewar' Fast Passenger. Friday 10th November 2006.
There are only four trains per day over this very scenic line - a day train and night train (with A/C accommodation) in each direction. As is usual for MG trains around Ahmedabad loads are only 6 or 7 coaches, so the locos...
