WDM-2 n° 17699 has just arrived at the former French colony of Puducherry. This locomotive was withdrawn from service in april 2014, only 5 months after this photo was taken.

Safe spot to be watching the engine move to the other side of the train. Puducherry is the end of the line, making this manoeuvre necessary. People are actually standing on the track the engine just came from, and since there is no other train supposed to be coming... no worries :).

Is this puducherry station??? Its very greeny... When it was captured ??? Before Thane cyclone??
very narrow platform and no full shelter. shelter was upto the station building very difficult i the hot sun....
