yes in freight dominated areas,2 BOXN rakes are coupled together to run as a combined rake,these rakes cant stop anywhere for crossing neither any Exp/Pass ca o/t them
You missed a very vital point:
Out of 445 km 330 km is in CG and this section alone earns more than 1000 Cr Rs one of highest in IR.
If new zone happens and if it happens on state boundary considerations than Division boundary restructuring is very much needed.
In IR income CG contribution is far far greater and no one talks...

yes chhatisgarh,orissa & jharkhand are highest ferrous & non-ferrous mineral producing state & Assam is the highest POL & Natural gas producing state.yet GOI hasnt done anything for improvement of the local people there & continue to exploit these areas...actually rly tracks are of no use to the local habitants there.
NEw zone should not be formed......KK line is the life line of iron ore exports
