Pakru 461 blog postsPost MAQ divn being formed as a part of SWR. This train along with its RSA partner should be short terminated at Kannur. A new train should be introduced by SWR from Mangalore to Chennai via Arsikere and Bangalore City. 12685/86 can continue though for its timing. The train should also be renamed a Kannur Mail. Similarly all trains extended to Kerala from MAQ should also be given back to SWR, MAQ Divn. All new trains from MAQ should be introduced only via UBL or SBHR - SKLR - HAS

whatever areas u supporting having their RM so ask them for more infra trains. this kind of hatred post are not at all needed. IR is nation wide network not dedicated for particular state. Trains are the cheapest mode of transportation for poor people for long distance, if hatred developed that cant be good. we r in need of for long trains covering many states
It feels good to see that people still feel that we are one and railways should not be divided in terms of the state they run through.

Mangala was train meant for Malabar region and MAQ. When KR came, IR decided to move it via KR and extend to ERS, so that it can stil conct MAQ and Malabar. It is not about historical info, it is about how you understand the info. Now and then, Mangala is serving its purpose.
short terminated for what reason ? These trains were introduced for benefit of Mangaluru people to reach Madras. Are nt Kerala people travelling in this train ? This wont be short terminated or cancelled at any cost
