Today at wee hours passengers bound to Bengal have detained the train at Vizianagaram from 02.00hrs to 05.000hrs due to failure of AC in 2-tier AC compartment due to failure of battery.Ecor could not rectify the problem and forced it to go upto Khurada Road by pacifying the passengers where in was not attended.It is came to known that battery spares are available only at Vizag,whereas this train passes via Duvvada even though at 23.00hrs many platforms are free to recieve trains at Vizag could have averted this problem.
3-tier AC bogie batteries got burnt before crossing Duvvada and therefore detained by agitated passengers at VZM.All emergency windows are broken till it reached howrah.
