This is such a slow train which covers distance of around 480 Kms in 13 to 14 hours. It is disappointing. Moreover you would find it standing at every second station en route. My suggestion is rather than travelling by this train better travel by overnight sleeper bus. Much cheaper on pocket and you will reach early.
From Jalpaiguri/Kishanganj to Patna, please avoid.
