Thanks for the discussion. On this site, we do not show advertisements. This is only to prevent clutter, increase speed and readability of the site. This site is NOT against commercialism or people getting some personal or commercial gain out of this site. Blatant and irrelevant solicitation and self-promotion are discouraged and immediately removed. However, we do not have any hardline policies against commercialism. This has also been mentioned time and again in other blog entries.
Our members and admins are encouraged to create their own websites, and we shall be happy to link and forward our visitors to your website. We want this website to be rewarding to all our members and admins. To the right hand margin of this page,

you will see a list of "Admin Blog Links". We shall be happy to include more such links from our other Admins.
@Mr. Rajasekhar & other Members: You may create your own websites and redirect our visitors to your site. We do not have any objection to that. You have selflessly contributed to this website, and we shall be happy to reciprocate and support you in any way we can.
@Rahul: Where questions are posed as in this Blog Entry, you may cite your website. However, please exercise discretion, and do so in moderation.
We wish all our Admins, Agents & Members success in their individual ventures, and we shall support you in every way we can.
Final Note: On the internet, with billions of websites, it is very hard to get even a handful visitors on individual sites. Many beautiful website abound with hardly any visitor coming by to appreciate or provide feedback. Our members and admins can use their reputations on this site, to quickly get some traffic and appreciation on their individual sites. We are happy to provide this service.
Thanks.

Followup & further clarity:
This is a freewheeling and fun website, with almost no hard rules, policies or bureaucracy. Almost any travel-related discussion is allowed, and any of our agents may help out travellers in need by selling tickets or otherwise. We have maintained this no-rules policy since the beginning.
Almost all moderation guidelines are based on common-sense and logic. For example, if someone blatantly posts an irrelevant or unhelpful link asking people to visit their website, such a post will be immediately removed. In the above case, Rahul's MG/NG list is clear

and concise, and will serve to help the original person who asked the question. So, definitely, such a post is allowed and even encouraged.
All posts are gauged on their individual usefulness, not on whether some person will derive benefit or not.
@Admins: Sorry to take a stance against some Admins on the above point. Please forgive us if the above was not clarified earlier.
Thanks.

Thank you Sir for clarification.
IT is heartenig to know that Admins and Members get encouragement from this site without any fear, or farce in the name of 'rules and policy'
Hope such warm support will continue for all members who venture into creating their own website.

Thanks for the acknowledgement.
It is important to point out that our Admins above were reluctant to allow this only because they feared that the quality would slip. The above post is not to contradict the views of our Admins. They were acting in the best interests of the site, and the same is gratefully appreciated.

We accept that it is our fault that this was not emphasized before. Forgive us for presenting a contradicting point of view.
So once again, to summarize, everyday all of us are faced with the challenging task of maintaining quality, while allowing virtually anyone to post anything without any let or hindrance. Thanks to all our Admins for making this possible.
