The service was flagged off on Tuesday by the South Western Railway which has tied up with the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC)
There'll be a bus on the return direction too, enabling those flying to Bangalore reach the railway station to carry on with their onward journey by train
“Of late, the number of people coming from Hubballi, Mysuru and Salem to the City Railway Station to take international flights from KIA has gone up,“ said Anil Kumar Agarwal, divisional railway manager, Bangalore division
