Any train coming to a particular stn should be sent out within reasonable time. TT should not be designed to hold trains for 3-4 hours in a station. It would be better, if rly run TEN/PDY-YPR and YPR-DR as separate trains, at convenient timings.
There are some blog posts mentioning that SWR has cleaner trains, compared to others. May be I will quote Tamil Poet Avvaiyar, who used to travel between Chera, Chola and Pandya Kingdoms. In one instance, to one of them she says that the other king has blunt, blood stained weapons, whereas you have brand new weapons. The King was happy and gave some reward. king has fought many wars and so, the weapons have all markings; but you have not fought any war and hence you have brand new weapons. Indirectly this means that if you go to war with other king, you will lose.
Same analogy -- Hold trains for hours in every station and clean them properly; do not allow them to run on tracks. Other zones will utilise the available resources and run all kinds of trains and hence rakes may not be so clean. Which one is preferred? Rake with better cleaning but crawling or rake with relative less clean but really runs on tracks?
