Dear friends, today one of my friends returned from Ahmedabad to Borivali in AC Chair Car. He had CC ticket booked till Mumbai Central. After alighting at Borivali he boarded local train from Borivali to Andheri in a First Class compartment. He was under the impression that as he had AC CC ticket booked till BCT, he was allowed to travel in mumbai local in first class. But today a TTE caught him and penalized him for ticketless travelling in 1st Class compartment. He was told that only 2AC & first AC ppl can travel in 1st class of Mumbai local. Is there any stated rule which can clarify or confirm this point? Where can we find the exact rule ? Can some one please guide or suggest something on it?
