To all sensible persons.Does Durgapur require 25min halt,than providing a stoppage at VSKP.
Trains other than duronto should stop at VSKP - it helps a lot - crew change, cleaning, loading food, we get more passengers, on board passengers can relax. If we skip we gain max 30 minutes which is not much for long travel of more than 36 hours.

But Ecor repeatedly says to maintain punctuality it is diverted skipping VSKP. Illogical and hopeless zone.
One has to take the NH-2 to Andal More and from there 3 kms inside to reach the station. I guess shared autos are available from Andal More to Andal station. Asansol-Raniganj-Andal-Durgapur are now connected with yellow ambassador taxis(visually similar to Kolkata's yellow ambys). By buses, one can catch any bus going towards Raniganj or Asansol from Durgapur City Centre or Benachity and reach Andal More on NH-2. For people living near DGR stn or coming from Bankura side, they can board any MEMU passenger towards ASN and deboard at UDL, otherwise first reach City Centre. Durgapur Airport which will soon start receiving passenger aircrafts is also located at Andal.

...this is mldt-rph-bhp-Y link near khana-dgr.....
....in that case train does not cover huge andal yard twice.....in case loco change in electric loco is possible only 15 min....
....within one year mldt get electrified...them mldt is tge loco changing point....so no need in dgr...so train must run upper mention route and stop at dgr almost 5min......
