Don't opt this train for end to end travel. Keep it as second last option (last option as legendary kolkata mail).
This trains takes too much time.
So if you want to travel from kolkata to mumbai, and all trains have seats available, then keep priorities as follows:
1. Duranto.
2.
...
Jnaneswari deluxe.
3. Mumbai mail
4. Gitanjali
5. Weekly trains
6. Shalimar ltt
and last as 7. kolkata mail.
And if u are travelling from mumbai to kolkata, then keep priorities to book seats as :
1. Duranto
2. Jnaneswari
3. Gitanjali
4. Mumbai mail
5. Weekly trains
6. Ltt shalimar
7. kolkata mail.
I am saying bcoz i have travelled in all these trains from both ways in 3rd a.c and sleeper. And on the basis of crowd, cleanliness and avaibility,i have ranked them. So plz take it in consideration before doing reservations.

and that's bcoz bro if we consider end to end travel, samarsata is taking a much longer route as compared to jnaneswari deluxe. Even though both these trains shares rake, still i'll go for jnaneswari as it would take less travel time with less fare.
