Hope that this budget Padatik Exp gets officially extended upto NCB with minimal stoppages as Uttarbanga is currently serving stoppages en route.This will not only help people of nbengal but will also help people of lower assam and catchment areas.
But instead of removing stoppages they have provided additional stoppage @ GDX...Also don't expect 12377 & 15725 to be operational at the same time..
Also coach numbers should be increased on an immediate basis. This is a highly demanded train. Best to make it a 24-coacher too like Darjeeling.
the GDX stoppage was due to a local stir and a demand.Intercity can at best have stoppage though highly unlikely should it get.Official Padatik extension will then permanently have Intercity withdrawn and have a separate schedule for it.The best will be to have a morning departure from COB95.30am) to reach NJP by 9.00am.Should be run in such a manner to facilitate office goers,students,businessmen.Can also be given via NCBD-Maynaguri rd jn-NQH once the project completes.
