Indian railways is sure short the Lifeline of our Nation. So as a tribute to the long serving lifeline of our country,i present to you all a musical mashup of the various speed spectacles shown by the workhorses of our Great Indian railways.
Video 1: Starting this speedy bonanza is the "Fastest Rajdhani" of our country ie. the 12952 Mumbai Rajdhani. Led by the newly commissioned GZB WAP-7#30382 the 12952 "King Rajdhani" blazes past Asaoti at full 140 km/hr on a foggy evening.
Video 2: Second in the slot is the mighty Sealdah Rajdhani,The fierce "ER Queen" ,as called by railfans, led by the GZB's warrior WAP-7#30278 first smoothly negotiates the S-curve and the then blazes past the Sasni station at full MPS. Also you can see the trees around the station's premises dance in ecstasy as a tribute to the passing hurricane.
Video 3: Here comes the ruthless "ER King",Leading from the front was the white warrior HWH WAP-7#30372,which put up a perfect MPS spectacle which was accompanied by terrific sparking show. The 20 coach HWH Rajdhani just flew by in no time and in the process overtook the looped Okha-Varanasi Exp.
Video 4: Fourth video comprises of a stunning MPS show shown by the Saurashtra Janta Exp.Led by an offlink GZB WAP-7#30243,the Jamnagar bound 19017 Saurashtra Janta Express thrashes Vangaon at super speed causing my railfan friends
Saurabh,Virag and Sparsh gaze in awe as they missed to capture this super offlink in full mps avatar.
Video 5: Seen here is the India's first ISO certified train in action.Led by it's customary TKD WAP-7#30395,the 12155 Shaan-E-Bhopal Express rips past the crowded Banchari station on a foggy morning.
Video 6: A perfect midnight strike by the Dashing Duronto. The HWH WAP-4 led 12273 HWH-NDLS Duronto simply thrashes Fatehpur station just moments after the clock stroked midnight.
Video 7: My first capture at Fatehpur station,Led by the Red-Hunk GZB WAP-4,the BBS Bound 12822 Bhubaneshwar Duronto leaves no stone unturned in delivering a powerful speed show which literally rattled the station. This action started the 2 day non stop high speed extravaganza.
Video 8: Aggression Unleashed..The train with the most aggressive time table and run ie. the fierce 12954 Aug. Kranti Rajdhani led by GZB WAP-5#30016 literally sets the tracks on fire by a super speed spectacle.
Video 9: Enter the most prestigious train of Central Railways aka the majesty Deccan Queen, led by the customary link KYN WCAM-3,the 12123 Deccan Queen sprints past Bhandup station on a damp and wet evening. Also you can see the moment the Legendary
Deccan Queen pases, the life line of Mumbai ie. fast local train bound to CSTM also darts away towards Ghatkopar for it's next scheduled halt.
Video 10: After one legend, here comes another legend this time of Western Railways. On a chilly evening ,78 years old Flying Ranee led by the BRC WAP-5 bolts past the dimly lit Kelve road station at flat MPS.
Video 11: Here comes one of the most aggressive diesel hauled train of WR and one of the few diesel hauled trains which do 120 speed.Taking the charge of the 20 coacher 12215 DEE-BDTS Garib Rath was the TKD's Hanumanji WDM-3A which surely left the
Palghar station rock-bottomed by a terrific 120 blast in the wee hours of the morning.
Video 12: One of most fiercest train of this route, the 12424 Dibrugarh Rajdhani led by the Predatory GZB WAP-4 unleashes pure aggression at Fatehpur after getting a massive clearance of over 30 minutes. The station was brutally thumped by this raging Rajdhani which flew by in quick succession.
Video 13: Concluding this compilation is the silent blast of INDIA's fastest Train. ie.12002 Bhopal Shatabdi.Chasing it's bait ie.Punjab Mail by a gap of 8 minutes, the category-5 hurricane of our country ie. Bhopal Shatabdi led by the India's first indigenous made WAP-5#30011 (Navodit) silently darts past the isolated Banchari station at 150 km/hr.Also witness how the trees were dancing in ecstasy as the hurricane roared past the station.A perfect blast to conclude a perfect tribute.
Lastly i would like to dedicate this video to each and every member of the Indian Railways, from the gangmen to the loco pilots from the station master to the flagmen. From the general manager to the level crossing guy. This is dedicated to everyone who keep their lives at bay just to ensure the railways operate smoothly day in and day out.My Heartiest Salute to all of them who are the part and parcel of the railways family. :)
