I don't want to blame any zone, plus I'm not from any of these zones. Neither fan of any of these trains. As a fellow IRI member, I doubt myself why coaches of Purshottam Exp is very poorly maintained and I mean it 'VERY POORLY'. Few days back I saw train at KGP. Whole train was in a such terrible condition. When we see other SF LHB trains such as Sampoorna Kranti Exp, Mahabodhi Exp, Poorva Exp (saw at NDLS in dec) or even kabirdham Exp; they are far better maintained then Purshottam.

Primarily the Lack of Intention of the concerned to keep the Rake Clean & When it comes to interiors the passengers can also play the spoilsport to some extent. This trains seems to get delayed en-route a lot don't know for what reasons, fog could be reason for reason months but inspite of having ample TAT fails to put a impressive look...
Yes PT fare keeps increasing as per demand & bookings done...PT quota is just that 50% of actual tatkal quota of that train.
.
Say if a train has 300 berths as Tatkal quota in SL class, now if PT is provisioned CK will be now 150 & PT will be 150.

Ecor should also prioritize other non-premium trains atleast in cleaniness. Afterall, I guess this one is oldest zone's train.
