Kindly comment on this train which can be introduced after conversion of CBE-POY is completed. Madurai-CBE intercity was a popular MG train before track conversion started. Now this can run till Mettupalayam in BG. Pollachi Podanur timings may need correction.
Happy to get Green flags for this train, though it can be introduced only after completion of CBE-POY BG line. I made it Madurai-MTP-Madurai as passengers from or to Ooty have to travel another 2/3 hours.
Good train, but it will be operated as an overnight express from RMM as it was in MG era.
no LENY....MDU had separate MDU-CBE IC in MG...The train number was 6707/08.....and RMM-CBE was separate ont whose number was 6715/16.
I remember the following trains, I have travelled in 1st four only:
(1) RMM-CBE & CBE-RMM overnight express - daily
(2) MDU-CBE-MDU intercity express - daily
(3) MDU-CBE & CBE-MDU passengers.
