Special Courtesy and hearty thanks to IRFCA Member Mr Sundar Mukherjee to present the "Machine Room" of a WAP 7 so vividly to us.
Brief Synopsis about the machine room:
There is a narrow passage in the middle of the "Machine Room" which is used by the "Loco Pilots" to change their cabin that is cabin 1 to cabin 2 or vice versa according to the direction of the movement of the locomotive. There is two cubicle in the machine room situated both the side of the narrow passage in the middle. One is known as Machine Room Cubicle 1 or HB1 another is known as Machine Room Cubicle 2 or HB2.

Download the PDF document attached in Re #1366636-3. It is a "Hanbook of 3 phase Locomotive". You can find all details about WAP 5, WAP 7 and WAG 9 from this PDF Document. There is 103 pages in total in this document. It is all about 3 Phasers.
Presently I am learning this document and try to explore 3 Phasers in more detailed way.
Thanks for your views.
