Which "other connectivity" is fine in Karnataka? I want to make a circular trip with following places: Bengaluru-Belur/ Halebeedu - Sringeri-Jog Falls- Belagavi-Bagalakote-Basavakalyana-Bidar-Mantralaya -Hosapete- Chitradurga-Bengaluru. I want to go to Dharmasthala/ Subrahmanya also, but since they come under HMRDA area, and also that Shiradi Ghat is blocked, I avoided visiting them for now.
I want to travel by train wherever rly lines are there. I find Hassan as nearest stn for Belur/ Halebeedu, Chikkamagaluru for Shringeri, Talaguppa for Jog, Bhalki for Basavakalyana as nearest stns.I can afford bus travel to these destinations, from nearest rly stns. For other locations, we have rly stns, so I want to utilise the rly services to make myself comfortable.
