Wat I want to know is do i have enuf time to take darshan in the morning, n return back to SVDK to catch a DEMU to UHP such that I can catch my 12446???

Yes..you can easily make it. While coming downhill a fit person can very easily make it in about 3-4 hours to Katra. So I guess you can catch the DEMU and reach UHP, well before time to catch your Sampark Kranti...
Absolutely correct..the temple is open 24*7, except during aarti...
