Stating that the government was committed to commission the dream project of Metro by 2016, Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today said that if all agencies, including Alstom Transport, which was entrusted with construction of coaches, coordinated well the project would become a reality, well ahead of the scheduled launching. Inaugurating the construction work of coaches in Andhra Pradesh through video conferencing here, he said the inaugural programme of the coaches was the last step that metro project would be completed in time. The question of everybody was whether the coaches would be ready in time to run the metro on its scheduled time and the question was now baseless as an assurance from the company that the coaches would be read by 2015 last had already been received, he informed.
