They are extending it beyond Arambhag upto Bishnupur but work is very very slow. Railway bridge on Tarakeswar river is completed.

I know This Tarakeshwar-Bishnupur Rail Project Afaik Deadline is 2014 but Not Yet Complete in 2015 :(

Just now i noticed from IRI map that IR has commenced track laying from Bishnupur end also. Track is laid upto Maynapur and a local train runs from Bankura to Bishnupur. So what remains is to connect Arambhag and Maynapur. If anyone knows present status kindly update.
