For Category 1 and 4 this Document can help immensely to have a "Complete Idea" about the "Entire Architecture" about WAG-9 Locomotives.(Except the Technical Terms)
For Category 2 and 3 this Document will help immensely to understand what are the Specifications and criteria required for being the "Loco Pilot" of a WAG-9/9H Locomotive.
First I want to discuss about the term "Sand Box" relating to WAG-9/9H Locomotives and also WAP-7 & WAP-5 Locomotives.
What is Sand Box?
Ans: A sandbox is a container on most locomotives, multiple units and trams that holds sand, which is dropped on the rail in front of the driving wheels in wet and slippery conditions and on steep grades in order to improve Rail Adhesion.
