You can even scan the copy and mail it to IRCTC along with physical post just to be doubly sure.
After a week or 2, keep giving them weekly reminders by way of phone or email (pursue the case)

Today (05.05.2015) TDR has been filed online. But the original certificate has been handed over to the customer care of IRCTC at MAS and they have said that they will forward the same to the relevant section.
Today morning, I received a call from SR, to immediately file the TDR. So the matter is being looked into it seems.

Further to above, today's TDR status is "CR Registered". Friends.. What is a CR? Does it indicate anything?

Even after 18 days and 2 e mails it's still "CR registered". What is CR?

At last got the refund of Rs. 935 per tkt. It works out to be 5700 per tkt from MGS to MAS after refund.
