I had requested a refund to railway for not able to travel on a e-ticket as the train was late more than 3 hours at the boarding station and we decided to travel by another train, total distance was 1997 Kms. As per the rule we requested the refund before the train arrived at boarding station by email as I was travelling and cant access the IRCTC website on mobile. I got the 50% refund within 5 days but the rule says i should get 100% minus 20/-, I escalated that on the date of refund but now its been almost 75 days and they still say its in process for the next 50%.
Please advice what are the chances of refund.
