Have look at the latest pictures of the Palakkad Town Rly stn wearing a new look as it gears up to receive the BG rakes. One pic has been taken from the new foot over bridge. The new town Stn has an air of cleanliness now and the Stn is slated for bustling activity. The grapevine is the the official inauguration could be sometime in June 2015. The Pollachi-Chennai Express may definitely be extended to run from Palakad Town Rly Stn. Also the grapevine is that a train from the town stn to Nagercoil or to TVC and one from the Town stn to Tenkasi is on the cards. Anway the Palakkad Town Stn will be back to its halcyon days and my blessings in advance for the stn and GoI for speeding up things.
