Kacheguda is an important station with a number of important trains either passing through or terminating/originating from there. During recent trip I was shocked to find that the station does not have a full fledged cloak room to keep luggages. I was directed to the parcel office, fairly away from main platform, where there is limited facility of accepting luggage, which is closed from around 7 PM till 5 AM. This is what the gentleman manning the place informed when I wanted to keep my luggages from 7.30 PM to 1.00 AM, when my train was at about 1.30 AM.
My train was @ 7 PM in the evening,. I had reached the Station around 12.30. I had gone to Parcel office to keep my luggage. They had rejected it because I din't have my bag locked. There is a shop right outside the station where you will get the lock for Rs.20. I got the lock and again went there to keep my luggage. They had informed me to take my luggage before 7 PM as they will close the cloak room by that time. So I kept it there, then gone back and sat in Cafe Coffee Day for next 5 hours. It was totally empty with 2 or 3 people came in between
