As u enter from Chandni Chowk Side onto main concourse area, u enter PF#8 and not PF#1 or 2 etc.
Ok now from main concourse, towards left, u will find PF 1,2,3, 4 and 5 as branch lines or Island type Platforms with dead ends as seen in first snap.
Similar is for PF# 6 and 7 which are on right side from main entrance (snap#3), PF#8 is the longest one which is been used to accomodate most 24 coachers.

thanks, very useful information indeed. I will be taking dhauladhar express from delhi next month, so this platform info is very helpful..
in the first snap there is no mention of platform 13. why is that so?
becoz PF#13 not connected to FoB on left side..only right side is connected..
