Places of Tourist Importance:-
1. Hanuman Mandir-
One of the most revered temples located in front of Patna Rly. Station.

2. Kumhrar-
The place contains ruins dating back to the Mauryan period which include a huge
pillared assembly hall, a Buddhist monastery, parts of Anand Bihar clay figures and
wooden beams.

3. Takht Shri Harmandir Saheb-
A Gurudwara constructed by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, is the birthplace of Guru
Govind Singh Ji and is also popularly known as Takht Shri Patna Sahib.

4. Golghar-
A beehive shaped granary built for storing grains to be used during famine ,
was built by the Britishers.

5. Patna Museum-
Also called Jadu Ghar is famous for its collection of stone and bronze sculptures
and terracotta figures of Hindu and Buddhist artists. The most famous being
Yakshi of Didarganj.

6. State Secretariat Building-
Here is the Martyr’s memorial observing the death of seven school and college
students killed by British army during the quit India movement 1942.
Other attractions include patna planetarium, quila House etc.
