Can anybody guide me the short local train route from Borivali/Kandivali to Vashi. - where should i get down and change train? is there any direct train from Borivali to Vashi side?
What will be the approximate taxi charges for the above place? thanks in advance.

I personally find the best way to go to Vashi from Borivali to Vashi is by Bus. Bus no 524 goes from Borivali East station to Vashi. Else you can go upto Dindoshi Bus stand in Goregaon (East) and catch bus no 523 to Vashi. Also there is a AC bus 123 of NMMT from Dindoshi to CBD belapur which goes via Vashi. It will be most comfortable and economical.
Provided however, that luggage is not there with the initial blogger.
A hand baggage is the only luggage i have and its possible to travel by bus also. thanks to the forum and bloggers, there are alternate options of travel - by train and bus, taxi, auto. thanks very much to all of you for the help.
Sir, if a permissible hand baggage is only there, the best alternate is BEST Bus.
