Query on CHANGE OF BOARDING Rule:
I'm planning to book ticket on Golden temple 12904 train - booking from Amritsar till Borivali & set the boarding as Ambala which is almost 4 hrs after Amritsar.
I'm booking from Amritsar instead of Ambala because my travel at Ambala is quite tentative & might at last moment change board to Amritsar itself.

from current boarding rule, I understand I can change the boarding from Ambala to any station in-between Ambala-Borivali but in my case can I also change it from Ambala to Amritsar ?
I really doubt Railway might have took someone reservation from Amritsar till Ambala for my allotted seat. Please suggest.
