Bengaluru City station:- If you need to go towards malleswaram and surrounding areas,it is best to go over to exit on platform 1 side as otherwise the other exit will involve a circuitous route and traffic jam.
I am sorry, this tip is not a 100% accurate. The other exit is actually far more easier especially during peak hours. The 5th main which is diagonally opposite the back entrance takes you directly to Malleshwaram and other localities in no more than 7-10 mins. Its not a busy road and has no signal and hence no congestion. The other exit BTW would lead you to central, Mantri mall and Malleswaram circle which are chock a blocked in the peak hours. Any localite would suggest you to avoid taking this this route in peak hours.
