i booked my ticket from jammu to new delhi from allahabad, is it considered as os quota? my current status is gnwl 30 in ac-2 tier on 10 june in rajdhani exp. will it be confirm??

Outstation quota is the quota meant for small towns away from the railway, where there is no railway line or station. For example some of the towns in the Nilgiris had quota in the train from Mettupalayam to mas and cbe to mas for the benefit of British settled in the Nilgiris during the British rule. It was useful before computerization. I don't know whether this exists even now. Similarly Kodaikanal had an OS quota for the trains from Madurai.
Even now Keti a small village in Nilgiris has a reservation counter for the benefit of the inmates a Lawrence school. Some of friends use it for booking Tatkal tickets as there would no queue at...
