Hello..recently travelled by this train. It was a comfortable journey. The train on an average reaches ernakulam by 10 - 15 mins late. But will take you to Chennai dot on time by 1035 hrs. Rail aahar will be opened at ernakulam station until departure of this train. I advice to get water bottle if u board this train from ernakulam at 0035hrs. Else u have to rush to pantry at late hours for the drinking water. Also morning tea/coffee will be served by 0600hrs. And breakfast after 0800hrs. So if u need early breakfast I suggest u to carry something to munch with u. Good and clean coaches.nice travel experience.
