Station Pf allocation information.
There are total 4 platforms at BE and additional 2 Pf which were earlier MG Pf (adjoining to Pf 4) are being in conversion process, so that longer-bigger BG trains could be allocated there.
Pf 1: All the Shahjahanpur/Lucknow side going trains come on this Pf only. There is no other Pf for this side train. So if some saturation occurs, then trains has to wait at BE outer stations (majority case with special train) till Pf 1 gets vacant.

2 & 3: Its a island Pf. All the trains going towards Rampur/Moradabad side come on this Pf. If some overtaking is to be done, then train which is to be overtaken is placed on pf 3. All the hapur/delhi bound trains comes on Pf 2. Generally On Pf 3 some of the weeklies bound towards RPU-MB-SRE are placed.
Pf 4: All the BE originating trains like BE-NDLS ICE,BE-LTT Exp & Ala Hazrat Exp starts from here.
Pf 5 & 6 are joined to Pf 4.
Food is all around the time present, and specially during morning time good hot poori-bhaji are sold here. Apart from this Pf 1 is always clean but rest Pf's are dirty and not so good maintained. Military MCO is present on Pf 1 towards MB side. There 2 ATM's near the Parcel booking exit side.
After coming outside from the BE pf 1 main exit, left direction is the way to main city while right direction its towards Cantonment side. For entry to Cantt. side, you can see the large welcome board saying "Welcome to Jat Regimental Centre." Pay-Parking is available adjacent to RPF chowki at the extreme right direction.
