I think this route is not approved by IR till now.But it should get approval then it will be difficult to demand SUR-JL via AWB.

There is final presentation before the railway board. However as per news, IR is keen to execute this work asap because of DMIC at Aurangabad. There is very high possibility that in coming budget this route will get required budget to start ground works such as land acquisition, earthwork etc.

Aurangabad-Chalisgaon-Dhule-Nardana route should be approved by railway & NHAI considering following important points-
1) Aurangabad-Chalisgaon-Dhule-Nardana will be shortest route from Aurangabad to DMIC line. Only Aurangabad-Chalisgaon is considered but the concern authorities should also consider Dhule- Nardana(approximately 35Kms) with this. It will connect Western Railway - Central Railway - South Central Railway .
2)It will connect - Hyderabad-Aurangabad -Surat- Baroda-Ahmedabad-Rajkot-Jaipur-Delhi industrially important cities & tourist place like Ellora, Devgiri Fort.
3)

Majority of backward area will come on this line & get benifited with Delhi Mumbai industrial corridor.

Welcome to IRI...!
I completely agree with you. However, Dhule MP is already in conversation with RM about the MMR-INDB route via Dhule-Nardana. And, Mr. Gadakari, Transport Minister, has already approved the route. Hope it will get materialized in this budget. Even then we have to keep poking the government about this important route.

It is good to hear that Dhule MP is following up for Manmad Indore route; but on priority Honourable MP Bhabresaheb should demand for Dhule - Nardana route which just 35Kms in this railway budget.
Manmad- Indore demand is age old but nothing has materialised yet; to start with Hon. MP Bhambresaheb should insists for connecting Dhule - Nardana by rail route.
