does this train slows down or stops occasionally at thane?
what is best way to reach ghansoli with this train? where should i get down? kalyan/dadar or cstm?

Its way too risky to suggest.. N its a cstm train so chances are of good speed skip
Don't take risk.... CSTM bound trains skip TNA pf 6 at around 50-60 kmph....no way that u can get down...

U may get down at Kalyan...take a train to thane and from thane another train to ghansoli.

GetDown at Kalyan & take CST bound Local & Alight at Thane & take Local to Ghansoli.
Or
Get Down at Dadar & Take TNA/KYN Bound local for Thane & take Local to Ghansoli.
As, First local from Thane (Thane to Panvel) to Ghansoli is at 5.15 a.m.

Ya I know its risky and I have mentioned too that it's not good.
90% of Mumbai CST bound Mail/Express train don't have unscheduled halt at Thane. (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus bound trains do make halt of 30 seconds at Thane over pf no : 8)
Plus during morning hours when this train arrives local network is free from congestion so chances are probably nil so better alight at Kalyan.Jn, then take a local ride till Thane as locals travel will be pretty easy at that time due to less crowd & thereafter take any Panvel/Nerul/Vashi bound Trans-harbour local to reach Ghansoli.
