One of the major reasons why Vidarbha Express remains the Most important train of CSTM.
Platform no.18 is given to Vidarbha Express, Nagpur Duronto Express and Howrah Duronto Express.
Seen in the picture is my 2 hrs rescheduled 12261 Mumbai-Howrah Duronto Express.

more... was shunted on the platform no.18 as usual and howrah duronto was shifted to platform no.17 which is originally the platform of Punjab Mail.
And Punjab Mail was shifted to platform no.16.
Even Today, there are instances, when railfans say Nagpur Mumbai Duronto getting delayed due to The 12106 Vidarbha Express as it blocks and awaits at the platform no.18, which is given to NGP Duronto after it and waits till the Pushpak Express departs from adjacent platform, and then vidarbha gets shunted into yard while NGP Duronto enters the same platform no.18
