Journey was set admist of january,upon arrival from CBE to SRR in 22610 CBE-MAQ ICE,having atleast 1hr buffer time for this train the rest room on pf2 helped us to refresh&reload ourself and our canon's.the next thing was to find some breakfast,with so many vendors on pf selling idli,dosa,etc etc.with the hope of finding much tastier food,we moved out of the station.Yes!!! they were two hotels beside eachother opposite to station(the left one seemed to be neat and hygiene!!!!)uthappam,idyappam filled our stomachs,quickly moved back to the station where our train arriving in as 56614 to have rake&loco reversal to take us back into teak territory,well...

the detach-reversal-attach took in just 15min,as we are walking towards east of the pf,ERS WDM3A towing 16305 ICE slowly marched,meanwhile our ALP for our onward journey had a quick check at the link,fuel,sanding and a 'Thumps up' from him signaled everything to the LP.(but one thing that caught my sight right from CBE was that LP'S,ALP'S of this division doesn't follow/have the usual dress code(seemed quite intresting!!))with the clock ticking to 9.18am,A funny honk from ICE loco indicated the starter was given for it,later at ATD we were to given caution to move on!!!.initially i was never had idea about the line outside of SRR towards MAQ,untill unless my hunk's turbo charger gave up the quick accelaration,believe it or not!!!!! though the ICE chugged early before our departure,we overtook it(at somepoint of time there was hardcore parallel action went on for a minute i can say,watch it from the above video(apolozies for the audio,MI NOTE audio sucks!! i agree though)action went on untill there was separtion of line,to be precise til there was speed restriction at the curve before entering neck of teak territory!!,the 'TEKKU '(:P:P) leaves was large &near as if they would slap on your face who stands at door for doorplating(wonder why government planted them jus aside of the line,post deforestration from britsh)hmmm!! hope rest of the story can be understood from my pictures(the saddest part of this journey was to know that i lost 1gb of data while i was transferring pics from mmc card to my lappy!!these are solely pics from my bro MI mobile left to show that i was part of mesmerizing part of the journey till Nilambur,later we moved to nilambur busstand around 11:15am where we took a bus to thiruvambady(via kakkadampoyil)only bus which travel through the ghat.i strongly recommend one to take this route those who come for a short trip to this branch line
