Uttam 5 blog postsI was going through the departure timings history at NZM and am appalled at the falsification of the records.
As I have mentioned in the next blog entry, I was a passenger in this train.
The train itself pulled into the platform late at 645 am and we left only at about 711 or 712 am.
I have video evidence of the same!

Hi Uttam,
Thanks for writing in this blog. The arrival/departure timings are the "official" timings and in most cases do reflect the actual timings. In some cases, timely updates are not made. As technology catches up, GPS devices are installed in trains, and so forth, the recorded timings will get accurate to the minute. For now, we are living with limitations in the current state of the technology.
As for falsification, it is definitely possible. But that would be a pessimistic/cynical way of looking at things. Let's just say, the timings are inaccurate...
