Tip for passengers going to Pune from Thane by road:
If you wish to reach Pune by road, you can take the MSRTC buses from Vandana Cinema Depot which is about 10 mins from the station. These buses ply every half hour(Shivneri, Semi-Luxury and Ordinary Express)
