Stopped at Chatterhat Railway Station, time 11:28, Dual WDM Goods train passing by on the loop line. Main line track work in progress. Laying of Rubber pads between tracks and concrete sleepers.

Two mins later as we stopped at NBO, GHY-JAT 15653 Amarnath Express pulls up on Pf 3.
Leaving NBO at 16:51, 41 mins late.

Rangiya Junction at 18:17, delayed by 09 mins. Overtook some passenger train.
Saw the Saraighat bridge, in the night, but still quite impressive. Road over Rail bridge 1.38 kilometers of running water at a brisk pace in summer by a river not mainly fed by melting snow of the Himalayas. Other bridges are definitely longer, but none has full length of flowing water.
No wonder it is called the mighty Bramhaputra, probably the only river with a male name in India.
