The possible reason can be only one. New DRM of ald. After he has taken over the charge trains running has improved. It may be the beginning but for a change it can't be all at a once. Step by step process will lead to ultimate success

they are suffering with no reason, bad handling of trains in ALD is the only reason.
They are suffering for no reason, the only reason is ALD is not so fit to handle trains.
Agar BBS Duro ko end to end P7 miljaye to aur mazaa aajega. Also being a Duro class, it deserves P7.
even i believe this freight diversion is the reason. for DRM to be directly responsible for improving punctuality of trains would involve someone who is too far into micromanagement. For someone with as diverse responsibilities as DRM such micromanagement may be impossible.
